With a company birthday at hand, it was a perfect time to give our website a little makeover, and put it back together after some rather annoying spamhaxors destroyed it recently.
We’ve filled it up with some new bits and bobs that we hope you enjoy, the most poignant one today being the history section, which at the moment contains the first part of the Mm story, as told by mister Alex Evans.

Late June 4th, 2009 PST, we rolled out LBPN V3 to the world and has been in the works for a couple weeks now. The reason for this new layout? Our 1 year anniversary of bringing LittleBIGPlanet content to you, The LBPNation. Now, I know it is almost a week after the new layout has been live, but the past couple days I have been working on some things LBPN related and not so depending how you see it.
These little changes will be announced in a later article you know you want to read up on. But who cares, the main thing is that we made it for a year and you can bet there will be more years to come. Hey, we’ll SackParty everyday for this milestone if we have to, hate it or love it.

SackBoy103 – Bottom Right
So today I am on FireFox browsing various sites and doing my usual CTRL+T, first three letters, arrowdown, ENTER, and another CTRL+T. The first site I went to was the LittleBIGPlanetNews Site on accident (I eventualy would of got there) but I usually checkout Joystiq, PS3F, and Kotaku for other news not regarding LBP first. I noticed that there was a new article posted by SackBoy103 with a word I never heard before but got to know what it was about after reading the article . SackBoy103 wanted to give a shoutout for all the support and love for LittleBIGPlanet. Just like SackBoy103, I haven’t wrote a Haiku since middle school and he wanted to share one for all the fansites!

A piece of downloadable content that was presented in the article was some renders of various pieces of LittleBIGPlanet. SackBoy103, thanks for this! My graphics artist will love this as he kept telling me that there wasn’t that much media for him to work with to fit the style of the game into a new layout, etc. We are working on the logo for that challenge posted a few weeks ago but came to a stalemate with the reasons listed in the last sentence. Anyways, thanks again for this! It will surely help for future development.
Chanana2 over at the LittleBIGPlanet News Site posted info on the third item out of five preorder swag up for grabs. Fellas, there might be a cell phone, protection, mp3 players,etc. For the females they might want to put their cell phone, makeup, wallet, and other goodies. But how bout putting your brand new LittleBIGPlanet gamecase inside for extra protection, SCRATCHES! If a lot of you are wondering what GameCrazy is, it is a game store owned by Movie Gallery. You can find these stores usually in a Hollywood Video most of the time but there are some standalone stores. What are you doing? Go get your POUCH!
Marketing Manager, Mark Valledor of SCEA revealed that they have launched a news site for LittleBIGPlanet. The envision for the new network site for the Playstation ring of sites is to be a key destination for alll major news regarding this highly anticipated game. Over the next few months there will be updates to keep eager fans active and updated whether it’s before or after the launch in October. Mark also wanted to thank all the fan sites out there that is dedicated to SackBoy and his ever growing fanbase. Well Mark, I would like to thank you for doing such a good job on marketing the game and everything you and Sony have done for the Playstation Nation the past 10 years plus! Me and the rest of the LBPNation are eagerly awaiting on the launch of the game and hope it’s a HUGE success!
The OFFICIAL website of LittleBIGPlanet has been launched today by Media Molecule and Sony. Right now as you might expect, the content of the site is on the light side. There is info about the game, screenshots of the game, trailers, and wallpapers. When you go to the splash page, you are greeted with a SackBoy with the menu system that you use in the game. Currently there are 23 countries supported. After selecting your desired country, you will be taken to the main site. What you will first see is the box like lobby area that is in the game to select your next destination. All in all, the first version of the site has a nice look to it and fits well what the game is about.
