For those who are subscribed Game Informer. You may have noticed that the cover for June features the Gears of War 3 crew but also features another huge character, the lovable SackBoy on their quest to spread more Play, Create, Share love.

The sequel that fans have been waiting for will be treated with lots of new features and emphasis this go around with SackBoy and the crew at Media Molecule. As if you didn’t know LittleBIGPlanet was all about creating but this time around you will get the feel of lots of customization. If you have been following ModNation Racers, you will be familiar with that heavenly expressed feature. What can you customize? That is your HUD. Giving you lot’s of possibilities for different game modes on various type of level creations. An example would be a health bar for a fighting game and/or adventure type game.

As you can expect for a sequel, you will see improvements to the A.I, physics, and graphics. Now, things that gamers that played the first go around would want faster loading times in game and online as that would get kinda out of hand sometimes.

It’s OFFICIAL, you can grab LittleBIGPlanet for the PSP on November 17, 2009 for a retail price of $39.99. Now, anyone notice that the release date falls on the 3 year anniversary of BIG BROTHER, Playstation 3 (Fat )? Oh, I remember that day so clearly, camping out for the launch system, playing tag in the thick fog, running through the empty streets, & the best thing, coffee. Cambridge Studio talked to GameSpot during their live E3 show about LittleBIGPlanet for the PSP. With the limitations of being connected online with PSP, it has raised flags if Online play would be implemented into the portable version. Right now as it stands, there is no Online capability, but Ad-Hoc capability in the handheld version.

3 Phases of Spaceman SackBoy

What we posted a couple days ago now has a cosign from the LittleBIGNewsSite on the release dates for North America. It confirms the October 21, 2008 release date and also confirms that Latin America will be getting the game as North America.

Here is what the schedule looks like:

October 21st   North America & Latin America
October 22nd  Europe, Australia, & New Zealand
October 24th   UK & Ireland

So from earlier reports, Europe will be getting the games a seven day bump up and Japan would be getting a bump up around two to three days from the covered October 30th date. HEY N4G News Staff, Europe doesn’t get games released on Wednesday huh?
