Yes, the title says it all and I wanted to share this everyone who visits this site. The_Grape aka Unco Same aka Guy from Canada, spent a good part of the day beating two of his co-hosts of ANiTM (Azn Noob In The Morning) time trials on Maple Treeway. The first victim from his crew was, TDKISCOOLIO, a guy that talks a lot, never knows when to shut up, and who’s MEAN to certain people. This wave took about three hours for Grape to surpass TDK and into the NUMBER 2 spot with an 6 second improvement.

So today I am on FireFox browsing various sites and doing my usual CTRL+T, first three letters, arrowdown, ENTER, and another CTRL+T. The first site I went to was the LittleBIGPlanetNews Site on accident (I eventualy would of got there) but I usually checkout Joystiq, PS3F, and Kotaku for other news not regarding LBP first. I noticed that there was a new article posted by SackBoy103 with a word I never heard before but got to know what it was about after reading the article . SackBoy103 wanted to give a shoutout for all the support and love for LittleBIGPlanet. Just like SackBoy103, I haven’t wrote a Haiku since middle school and he wanted to share one for all the fansites!

A piece of downloadable content that was presented in the article was some renders of various pieces of LittleBIGPlanet. SackBoy103, thanks for this! My graphics artist will love this as he kept telling me that there wasn’t that much media for him to work with to fit the style of the game into a new layout, etc. We are working on the logo for that challenge posted a few weeks ago but came to a stalemate with the reasons listed in the last sentence. Anyways, thanks again for this! It will surely help for future development.

“Got these display boxes in at work for Little Big Planet on the PC, How Very Queer!!!”
As much as LittleBIGPlanet for the PC would be great, I don’t see the game selling a lot on the platform, I could be wrong but my main concern is piracy. Would Sony allow one of their HUGE and MOST HYPED game go to the PC where it’s pirate heaven? If they do they can go the route of BioShock and use DRM, but with the hassle of DRM, they would get more heat for it. BUT since Media Molecule has experience on STEAM with Ragdoll Kung-Fu, going on STEAM would be the best fit to fight piracy! Just like Brian Ashcraft, I feel that this is just nothing more than a screw-up.
Could this be the BIG surprise that Alex was talking about?
Last night firmware 2.41 for the Sony Playstation 3 was launched on their update servers to the delight of the people who wasn’t fast enough to grab the 2.40 update last Tuesday(PST) night. Some of you probably wanted to download the taken down 2.40 to be rebels and see if it would “brick” your PS3.The reason why it caused a select few to have non-existant XMB problems was because of a ” system administrative data.” Why did this happen? Well after updating to firmware 2.40, a few PS3s could not activate after updating to last weeks latest firmware from Sony. Don’t worry, 2.41 does not do what 2.40 did and it is safe for all of you that did not get a chance to download it can now do so worry free. For those that got caught up in the fiasco, you need to contact Customer Services and a replacement PS3 will be sent.
