The upcoming Metal Gear Solid level pack for LittleBigPlanet will add 11 new Trophies to the game. The Trophy list reveals some exciting details about the upcoming expansion pack. For example, “Rexecutioner” will have you going against a LBP recreation of Metal Gear REX. Looks like Sackpeople will be packin’ some heat in the expansion in the form of a paintball gun. If you buy the level pack, you’ll be able to include this new paintballing mechanic to your levels. Sounds fun!

To help spread a little holiday cheer all the LittleBigPlanet players out there, we are giving a new Santa Outfit on the PlayStation Store starting tomorrow! Now all you LBP fans out there can jingle your way through the holidays in style. The suit will be given away across two release waves over the next couple of weeks.
The fun start tomorrow (12/11/08), where we will be giving the Santa coat and a set of trousers for all you SackBoys and SackGirls.

With the release of Super Street Fighter II TURBO: HD Remix a few days ago on the Playstation Store, is there more that Sony and Capcom are keeping from us? PSNow Administrator, Kevin Selles, posted images of some of your favorite Street Fighter characters on their forum. Sony Computer Entertainment Europe has since then contacted PSNow and asked to have the images removed from their site.
Now the question is, Are they real? All things point to a yes by the request to have them removed from their site as a big cosign. Now the next thing to think about is, when and which price point can I get it? Was it taken down because it was for this week’s weekly update? A future update? We will find out soon enough. For now, enjoy the rest of the images after the jump.
Going to the Playstation Store to go pick up this weeks FREE DLC and I get the following message.

Everybody has seen what preorder bonus item you get at several retailers across the nation and the world. The least most desirable item on the list is the sticker book. From the pictures below, you will see another reason why it is the least desirable and basically no interest if shown before hand. It is not the reason majority thought of when it was announced, you know, the simple fact it is a sticker book that has no real point of use but for sticker junkies or for little young Sacketeers. Another reason not to want this? The low quality of the stickers! Anybody could of printed these stickers from their printer at either the same quality and/or even better quality. Going in, you would expect the stickers to be printed on some sort of plastic with vibrant colors, but that is not the case. These stickers just look like they were printed on newspaper with low ink.

Earlier today, Media Molecule has plugged in the necessary AC cables, cat5 cables and the proper switches to bring the LittleBIGServer to LIFE! For those that have preordered your copy of LittleBIGPlanet at GameStop/EBGames or any other place offering DLC, Mark Valledor has posted on the PSBlog that you can get your hands on your DLC later tonight.
So going to CircuitCity today to go check what’s going down with the LittleBIGPlanet scene at my local CircuitCity. I find that there was a notice on top of the locked up cabinent of games, that they addressed LittleBIGPlanet. Sorry for no pictures, did not have my camera or phone on me at the moment, but it mentioned the LittleBIGPlanet ad in this weeks CircuitCity ad that they will not get their shipment until Tuesday by 2PM. In this weeks ad, it mentions that you get a $10 CircuitCity Giftcard with purchase of LittleBIGPlanet.
Now the notice is mentioning that when you pick up your copy on Tuesday or any other day of the week up to Saturday, you will get the ORIGINAL promo of $15 giftcard. It’s good to see that CircuitCIty is honoring their ORIGINAL promo because of the drama from last week that caused the delay. Some across the web were thinking that they would receive the $10 for this weeks ad and are now going to be delighted to see that they get an extra $5 on top of that.
