LittleBIGDate Confirmed – NA & UK

So it’s been reported that Japan and Europe will have a release date of October 29th (Euro) and 30th (Jap) 2008. The United Kingdom will be getting their copies of the game on October 24th, 2008. Is this a new date for Europe? Or is it just specificly for the U.K? For five full days you gamers in the U.K will have it in your hands before the rest of Europe. For the people on the Left side, PS3F reports that North America will be getting the game on the rumored and highly covered October 21st, 2008 release date. If that isn’t a good co-sign then what else could it be? A SackBoy/Girl Plush doll? Yeah you know you want it.

EDIT: Changed title from US to NA. People above the U.S won’t panic now ? Also this N4G news thought !:)

Nariko is back and ready for action! Not in a new game, well yeah it really is a new game actually, but no matter what be ready to rumble! Nariko consists of 3 different costume items – her signature hair, custom fit clothing, and uber-awesome Heavenly Sword. Currently people in the U.S are able to obtain the voucher to get Nariko but Canada don’t swet it! There will be another announcement regarding your part of North America soon.

Well i’ve been meaning to post a few articles the past few days but i’ve been working on a lot of things for the site and things nothing related to the site. So I look at my email and someone sent me this little info Now that I have the time to write up something and get a lot of work done, here is what I had to sum up for you. I’ll start off with the latest:

Posted on the OFFICIAL Playstation Blog by Mark Valledor, Marketing Manager, SCEA. Mark announced today that with the Little but BIGGEST game anticipated game for the Playstation 3this Fall will have preorder swag! He has been working closely with various North American Retailers for advertisment for this October 2008 launch. There are five items so that obviously means five stores will have one of the five swag! Which one? Well Mark wasn’t kind enough to reveal that just yet but said it will be revealed soon. Hmmm let me guess the retailers…. Best Buy, CircuitCity, Target, Wal Mart, EBGames/Gamestop? I think that is right. For the five preorder items, get it after the jump.

2.41 is Live! and Why 2.40 caused some PS3 users trouble

Last night firmware 2.41 for the Sony Playstation 3 was launched on their update servers to the delight of the people who wasn’t fast enough to grab the 2.40 update last Tuesday(PST) night. Some of you probably wanted to download the taken down 2.40 to be rebels and see if it would “brick” your PS3.The reason why it caused a select few to have non-existant XMB problems was because of a ” system administrative data.” Why did this happen? Well after updating to firmware 2.40, a few PS3s could not activate after updating to last weeks latest firmware from Sony. Don’t worry, 2.41 does not do what 2.40 did and it is safe for all of you that did not get a chance to download it can now do so worry free. For those that got caught up in the fiasco, you need to contact Customer Services and a replacement PS3 will be sent.

PS3 Firmware 2.40 Now Available!

For all of you that did not download the latest update for the Playstation 3, Go turn your PS3 on NOW and get it! I predicted on various message boards that this update would be released Tuesday night (PST) and it is now true. if you do not know what comes in the latest update i’ll give you the main ones.

• InGameXMB
• InGame Messaging (Read/Reply)
• Music (Requires Patches for most games)

I will post more of the features as I find exactly what is in it than what was learned June 30th, 2008 after the Jump.
