Just about 2 minutes ago before typing these few lines here, I started my PS3 and LittleBIGPlanet to find that there is an update. I do not know exactly what this update is for but to take a guess, it is probably to help with some server lag and some bugs people been having. Anyone here about the wipe your game clean bug while creating? Let’s hope it has been addressed and fixed. We will post an update when more information comes around. Happy Gaming!
You may have remembered us mentioning, that we will be giving away a FREE LBP downloadable costume once a week. Well, beginning this Thursday, you will be able to dress your SackBoy or SackGirl with a brand new “Sack-in-the-Box” costume! This costume was designed by “nebu1ou5? from Rydal, PA, the US winner of the “LittleBigChallenge 003- Official in-game SackBoy Costume Contest”. Congratulations to nebu1ou5! Take a look at the original sketch and the final in-game costume above.

We’re confident you’ve seen it! It’s one of the most popular and viewed LBP videos on the LittleBigWorkshop, and it definitely caught our attention. Brought to you by, Jemi-maru, the LittleBigDance video featured multiple SackBoys outfitted in various costumes, rocking out and dancing to various tunes. We also thought the range of backgrounds used throughout the video was highly creative. It’s one of the most inspirational videos we’ve seen with SackBoy.
On Thursday, 11/13/08 the PlayStation Store will have new items for our LBP fans. As we introduced our ‘freebie’ costumes last week, our second week on the store introduces a variety of costumes - ranging from free to $2.99.

At times it has felt like it might never happen, but today we were able to take a couple of Sackpeople out to our local electronic entertainment emporium and show them their starring role on the shop shelf. Exciting times!
As an added bonus we have a new trailer out, bonza!
Everybody has seen what preorder bonus item you get at several retailers across the nation and the world. The least most desirable item on the list is the sticker book. From the pictures below, you will see another reason why it is the least desirable and basically no interest if shown before hand. It is not the reason majority thought of when it was announced, you know, the simple fact it is a sticker book that has no real point of use but for sticker junkies or for little young Sacketeers. Another reason not to want this? The low quality of the stickers! Anybody could of printed these stickers from their printer at either the same quality and/or even better quality. Going in, you would expect the stickers to be printed on some sort of plastic with vibrant colors, but that is not the case. These stickers just look like they were printed on newspaper with low ink.
Sticker book after the jump.

Earlier today, Media Molecule has plugged in the necessary AC cables, cat5 cables and the proper switches to bring the LittleBIGServer to LIFE! For those that have preordered your copy of LittleBIGPlanet at GameStop/EBGames or any other place offering DLC, Mark Valledor has posted on the PSBlog that you can get your hands on your DLC later tonight.

So going to CircuitCity today to go check what’s going down with the LittleBIGPlanet scene at my local CircuitCity. I find that there was a notice on top of the locked up cabinent of games, that they addressed LittleBIGPlanet. Sorry for no pictures, did not have my camera or phone on me at the moment, but it mentioned the LittleBIGPlanet ad in this weeks CircuitCity ad that they will not get their shipment until Tuesday by 2PM. In this weeks ad, it mentions that you get a $10 CircuitCity Giftcard with purchase of LittleBIGPlanet.
Now the notice is mentioning that when you pick up your copy on Tuesday or any other day of the week up to Saturday, you will get the ORIGINAL promo of $15 giftcard. It’s good to see that CircuitCIty is honoring their ORIGINAL promo because of the drama from last week that caused the delay. Some across the web were thinking that they would receive the $10 for this weeks ad and are now going to be delighted to see that they get an extra $5 on top of that.
Have you gotten the call??

Well all right, so that v1.01 patch didn’t fix the “disturbing” lyrics of Toumani Diabaté. What it did instead was tweak some online functionality and at the same time add in some more delightful costumes for sack people. However, v1.02 does remove the controversial lyrics and it’s out now for Europe.
The v1.02 patch removes all the words from the song “Tapha Niang,” leaving the track as a purely instrumental piece. As of yet, the North American version has not been updated — we’ve checked, again. But that shouldn’t really matter, should it? LittleBigPlanet technically isn’t out, right?
